Hyfe’s CoughMonitor Suite has been used in +50 field and clinical trials to date, including phase 1 and phase 2 clinical trials. Rigorous validation studies show Hyfe’s tools outperform alternatives with consistent, scientifically backed results and very low false positives. CMS achieves a Lin’s Concordance Correlation Coefficient (a measure of agreement where 1.0 = perfection) of 0.97 when comparing model-estimated cough counts to human-labelled ground truth, demonstrating robust agreement and reliability.

How it works

Inside the CoughMonitor Suite

Cough Monitor Suite combines wearable technology, mobile connectivity, and cloud-based analytics to provide continuous, objective cough monitoring - backed by full study support services.

CoughMonitor

CoughMonitor continuously deploys an acoustic signal processing algorithm to automatically identify coughs. The times at which coughing occurred are sent via Bluetooth to a dedicated mobile app.

CoughMonitor Companion app

The Companion app automatically sends data via the phone's Internet connection to Hyfe's Cloud. It also collects PROs, both standard and tailored to each study.

Hyfe Cloud

The data is securely stored in the Cloud and can be accessed for review through the Web-based Dashboard.
